How do you open a Hyundai key fob?
I think the battery on my Hyundai Sonata’s key fob is dead, but I have no idea how to open it and check. How do you open a Hyundai key fob?

Opening your Hyundai key fob can feel daunting if you’ve never done it before, but luckily, it’s pretty simple. To open your Hyundai key fob:
- Press the button on the side or the top of your key fob to release the key
- Use the key to gently pry open the fob. Insert it into the slot and turn it as if it were in an ignition
The key fob should pop open, and the battery can be found behind the circuit board, which is easily removable.
