I was recently pulled over for speeding and instead of issuing me a ticket, the police officer let me off with a warning. Will that show up on my driving record?

So the police warned you to never speed again? Consider yourself lucky—while it’s possible a speeding warning can show up on your driving record, it is unlikely to negatively affect you or your insurance rate.
Here’s what usually happens if a police officer gives you a warning, instead of issuing a ticket, after pulling you over.
Verbal warning: Nothing will happen if the officer didn’t formally write a warning and file it with their department. Your insurance won’t go up and the warning won’t show up on your driving record—so breathe easy. But don’t assume your luck will hold if you’re caught speeding again.
Written warning: If an officer issues you a written warning after pulling you over, there is a chance it will end up on your driving record. There is also a chance that this can impact your insurance rate, but likely not. A warning is just that—a warning. You weren’t ticketed. Still, if one speed warning is all that’s on your record, your insurer is unlikely to boost your rate because of it.
Being issued a warning by a police officer can be an uncomfortable experience. But it is unlikely that it will have much of an effect on you, even if it does show up on your driving record. Protect yourself from future warnings—don’t speed.
