Can I do defensive driving twice?

I tend to forget things pretty quickly, but I really want to be a good driver. Is there any reason I can’t do a defensive driving course twice?

Defensive driving courses
can be extremely helpful for learning how to safely navigate traffic. And there’s no reason you can’t take them more than once. That said, you can typically only use them to remove a traffic ticket once in a given amount of time.
In
Texas
, for example, you can only remove a traffic violation by taking a defensive driving course once every 12 months. Similarly, you can only remove a violation with a defensive driving course once every 18 months in
California
.
Remember, traffic violations can cause an increase in your car insurance rates. To make sure you’re getting the lowest available car insurance rate, even after your violation, try
