OEM wheel size: Refers to the diameter of your Dodge’s factory wheels—OEM stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer.” You’ll need to match the correct size to install new rims.

Lug pattern: Commonly called the bolt pattern, this number refers to the number of lug holes followed by the diameter of the circle they make. Knowing this pattern will help you find rims that match your Dodge.

Offset: A wheel’s offset is the distance between the mounting surface and the rim's center. A positive offset tells you the wheels are pulled towards the car; a negative offset means they’ll stick out. Most Dodge OEM wheels have a high (+35-40) or medium (+20) offset.

Stud size: Stud sizes are written in a couple of different ways. US fasteners are stated as stud diameter x threads per inch (example: 1/2x20), whereas metric fasteners are expressed as stud diameter x distance between threads (example: 12x1.25).

Center bore: The center bore of a wheel is the hole that centers the wheel on the hub. Knowing this measurement is essential because that opening can vary in size.

How to measure your Dodge’s lug pattern

Don’t worry if you don’t see your Dodge on the table! Measuring your own bolt pattern with a ruler or measuring tape is easy.

Begin by counting the lugs. Just about every Dodge has five. Next, you’ll need to find the diameter of the bolt pattern.

Begin at the outer edge of any lug hole and measure straight across the circle. On a five-bolt pattern, you won’t hit any bolt holes, so adjust your ruler or tape measure to the nearest lug on either side and measure to the center of that lug hole. Way to go—you’ve found your diameter!

If you measure a diameter of 4.5 inches, this tells you that your Dodge’s bolt hole pattern is 5x4.5 or 5 on 4.5.
