Which states share driving records?
Do all states share driving records or do you have different records in each state? If you have different records in every state, wouldn’t you just be able to get a new license in a new state if you lose your old one?

Currently, 45 of the 50 states share driving records per the Driver License Compact (or DLC). The only states that don’t share driving records are:
- Georgia
- Massachusetts
- Michigan
- Tennessee
- Wisconsin
However, even these states will honor another state’s license suspension or
revocation
