You might already know that the Onboard Diagnostics II (OBD-II) port monitors your 2019 Dodge Charger’s emissions, engine, and transmission systems performance. This port allows you to access your Charger’s internal computer to run tests and diagnostics.
Within a few seconds, the scanner should provide you with a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) to help determine why your vehicle’s Check Engine light came on. All scanners are a little different, so you’ll need to follow your scan tool’s specific instructions to read the code properly.
