Where are American Fiats made?

Does Fiat have a manufacturing plant in the U.S. or are American Fiats made somewhere else? I know Fiat is mostly based in Europe so I’m curious.

A great question! American Fiats are largely made in Mexico, Brazil, and other South American countries. However, some Fiat models are also manufactured overseas in Italy before being shipped over to the United States for sale.
To determine where a particular vehicle was manufactured, you can
check and decode your Fiat’s VIN
to learn more about its origins. This will tell you which country manufactured the vehicle you’ve chosen.
