I raised quite the eyebrow when my son told us he bought an Acura hybrid SUV, telling him I personally would never drive such a gimmicky car. I also told him that hybrid cars would go the way of the dodo bird soon enough (apparently I was a bit off about that). Anyways, I finally saw my son’s new SUV and it is gorgeous! I couldn’t believe it. I told him my car “is in the shop” so he’d lend it to his mother and I for our drive up north to our cabin this weekend, and he gracefully obliged.
