I raised quite the eyebrow when my son told us he bought an Acura hybrid SUV, telling him I personally would never drive such a gimmicky car. I also told him that hybrid cars would go the way of the dodo bird soon enough (apparently I was a bit off about that). Anyways, I finally saw my son’s new SUV and it is gorgeous! I couldn’t believe it. I told him my car “is in the shop” so he’d lend it to his mother and I for our drive up north to our cabin this weekend, and he gracefully obliged. I want to set the mood and tee up my Fleetwood Mac collection for the ride up—how do I connect to Bluetooth in a Lexus RX 450h?

Simply pair your smartphone with the
Lexus RX 450h
’s infotainment system in order to take full advantage of its Bluetooth capabilities for a ride up north worth remembering!To use Bluetooth capabilities, just follow these simple steps:
- Ensure sure your smartphone’s Bluetooth setting is turned ON
- On your Lexus touchscreen, tap the MENU button and then press on SETUP
- Tap on Add new device
- You should see your smartphone show up on a list on the touchscreen—tap it
- You’ll receive a PIN on your phone—make sure it matches the pin on your touchscreen
- In a few moments, your phone will be connected via Bluetooth
