What is the warranty on a Nissan Rogue?

I’m thinking about purchasing a Nissan Rogue but I want to make sure it has a decent warranty. How long is the Nissan warranty and what does it cover?

The warranty on a Nissan
Rogue
lasts for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever you reach first, and covers defective components. The warranty does not cover components that have been damaged by:
  • Theft
  • Misuse
  • Accidents
You’ll sometimes hear the Nissan limited warranty referred to as a
bumper-to-bumper warranty
since it covers parts all across the car. The only notable components that aren’t covered by the limited warranty are the engine and transmission. These are covered by a powertrain warranty, which lasts than the limited warranty—usually five years or 60,000 miles.
If you’re worried about your warranty running out too early, consider purchasing an
extended Nissan warranty
. These warranties can run as long as eight years or 120,000 miles.
Now that you’ve got your warranty handled, it’s time to think about revisiting your car insurance.
