Where are GMC 3500 trucks made?

I want to get a massive truck for both work and play. I really like the GMC 3500 heavy-duty trucks more than anything else. But due to my family being in the union, I have to buy American. Where does GMC make its 3500-Series trucks?

If you want to buy American, any GMC truck will do the trick. GMC 3500 trucks—along with the 2500 and 1500 Series—are all built at the Fort Wayne Assembly Plant in Roanoke, Indiana.
Constructed in 1986, the Fort Wayne Assembly Plant builds all GMC trucks, as well as the Chevy Silverado, which is built on the same platform. The plant hires nearly 4,400 workers, covers 4.6 million square feet, and is one of the most important manufacturing plants with General Motors.
If you love the GMC 3500, the next step is to go for a test drive. But while you’re shopping and researching, take an extra minute or two to significantly reduce your
