Should I buy an F150 with 100k miles?

I’m looking for a cheap used truck, and I’m having trouble finding something reliable that’s in good shape. I did find a nice Ford F150, but it has a lot of miles! Is it a good idea to buy an F150 with 100k miles?

As far as cars go, nothing lasts much longer than the
Ford F150
. A well-kept F150 can last over 300,000 miles without needing major repairs. Of course, it’s rare to find a car that’s been kept in such good condition.
The average American drives about 14,000 miles per year. That means a Ford with 100,000 miles should be around 8 years old. Given the mileage and how quickly cars depreciate, a Ford F150 with 100,000 miles should cost around $8,000. It might sound pricey, but that’s a bargain considering it could last another 20 years if you keep to a regular
car maintenance schedule
.
It’s important to remember that cars also come with other expenses. While an F150 with 100,000 miles may be cheap upfront, they have generally poor gas mileage and you’ll likely need to fix a few things before you hit the road. Plus, [insuring trucks]
