Is the Nissan Rogue a midsize SUV?

I’ve been thinking about buying a Nissan Rogue but it feels ridiculous to get an SUV as a single driver with no kids. Is it on the small side for an SUV?

Rogue is **not a midsize SUV.** It’s actually a compact SUV, otherwise known as a **crossover**. The 2022 Rogue has a seating capacity of **5 passengers** (as do all model years) and 147.1 cubic feet of cargo space.
All that said, you might still find the Rogue too big to drive as a single driver—but driving a Rogue would be no more excessive than driving something like a
CR-V
or a
Crosstrek
. One great thing about driving a crossover—even as a single driver—is having the option of driving others when you need to, or having extra room to periodically haul around luggage or furniture. You’re best off going for it if you really love it!
