When I was driving the other day I saw a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 and fell in love. I’m assuming because they were a limited edition there weren’t that many made, but I’m hoping I’m wrong. How many Grand Cherokee 5.9s did Jeep make?

was only produced for the 1998 model year with more performance and luxury than the regular Limited. Of the nearly 250,000 Grand Cherokees manufactured in 1998, less than 15,000 were 5.9s Limiteds.Equipped with a Magnum 5.9 L V8 engine that produces 245 horsepower and 345 pounds of torque capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph, the Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited was the fastest SUV available in 1998. It’s no wonder Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road magazine named the Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited vehicle of the year.
