Kids and cars don’t always mix well—but try not to worry! Removing crayon wax from your cloth car seats is pretty simple. All it takes is a scraping tool, elbow grease, and some supplies you already have around the house! Follow these steps to get crayon wax out of your cloth car seats:
    1. Scrape off as much of the melted crayon wax as you can with a butter knife, spoon, or other pry/scraping tool.
    1. Lay paper towels or a towel over the crayon wax and plug in your clothing iron—set to low heat.
    1. Place the iron on top of the towel and let the wax melt. It should soak into the towel.
    1. Scrub the stained area with an old toothbrush and a drop of degreaser or dish soap.
    1. Rinse the area by dabbing it with a warm, damp rag.
    1. Leave the windows open for a few hours to let the seat dry.
Congratulations! Your seats should now be crayon-free. In the future, consider using car seat covers or other
protective layers
to protect your seats.
