How do I change a headlight in a 2003 Honda Civic?
I was coming home from work last night and noticed my headlight was out. What’s the easiest way to change the headlight bulb on a 2003 Honda Civic?

Fortunately, you can change the headlight in a 2003 Honda Civic rather easily. Here’s what to do:
- Purchase a bulb from a local auto parts store. Ask the clerk if you aren’t sure which bulb you need.
- After you get the bulb, open the hood of your car.
- On each side of the engine compartment, locate the headlight housing.
- Grab the housing of the bulb and turn it counterclockwise to extricate the bulb.
- Pop the old bulb out.
- Pop the new bulb in.
- Insert the wiring harness and bulb into the housing compartment and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
