Does BMW have adaptive cruise control?

I’m looking to buy a luxury car with a lot of technology and adaptive cruise control is something I want. Does BMW offer cars with ACC?

Modern
BMW
models are often equipped with an Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system, although it’s not labeled as such. Instead, look for the terms Active Cruise Control and Dynamic Cruise Control.
Dynamic Cruise Control is relatively simple but still an upgrade to standard cruise control. It specializes in maintaining a specific speed and applying
the brakes
as needed. This means it doesn’t quite fit the bill as an ACC system.
Active Cruise Control, on the other hand, is an adaptive system in everything but name. The Active Cruise Control offered by BMW makes plenty of improvements to a standard system, including the ability to set and maintain a distance behind other vehicles.
Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why drivers love Adaptive Cruise Control:
  • It allows you to keep a reasonable distance from other vehicles
  • It helps you maintain a
    legal speed
  • Some drivers get less fatigued while using cruise control on highways
If you’re planning on buying a brand new BMW, you could end up spending a lot on car insurance.
