Does an aftermarket exhaust void the RAM warranty?

I want to put an aftermarket exhaust on my RAM for a more guttural growl. However, the truck is still under warranty and I’m worried that I may void it with this upgrade. Will an aftermarket exhaust void the warranty on a RAM truck?

If you want to get more of a growl out of your truck, an aftermarket exhaust will not void the
RAM
warranty, provided the installation is done correctly.
According to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975, the onus of proof that the new exhaust damaged the car is strictly on the dealership. However, some automakers have been known to deny warranties due to poor aftermarket parts or installation.
Always get truck mods at a trusted auto shop or at a RAM-certified mechanic or dealership to avoid any chance of having your warranty canceled.
