Do car insurance companies allow you to cancel your policy mid term?

If I buy a used Honda Fit, will I have to pay a lot for repairs? I want a reliable car that has low maintenance costs but I also love how compact the Fit is. It would make parking a lot easier!

I have some driving credit on my Zipcar account, and I want to use it on a trip I’m taking in the fall because it’ll be more expensive. How can I apply the driving credit to a future trip?
