Will my full-coverage insurance cover paint damage to my Ford Bronco after a cleaning?
I washed my Bronco a few days ago and something damaged the paint—I don't know if I used the wrong cleaner or if my scratch pad is to blame. I have full-coverage insurance with Progressive. Will it cover this damage if I file a claim?

Full-coverage insurance includes
collision coverage
and comprehensive coverage
. Collision coverage kicks in to repair damage after you hit another car or object, while comprehensive coverage covers damage from things like fire, wind, hail, theft, and vandalism.Neither of these coverage types covers the kind of damage you’ve described. You’ll have to pay out of pocket to fix the paint.”
