I’ve been thinking about getting a Tesla, but after years of driving SUVs, I don’t think I can sacrifice the cargo space. Is there a Tesla that’s styled more like an SUV?

Tesla has created a one-of-a-kind driving experience. They may not have a vehicle that’s exactly what you picture, but the Model X comes closest to resembling an SUV. That said, Tesla classifies both the Model X and Model Y as SUVs.
boasts 92 cubic feet of interior space and a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. That might not exactly compete with some of the biggest SUVs on the market—the 2022
boasts 122.9 cubic feet behind the first row and can tow 7,500 lbs—but it’s still pretty impressive for an all-electric SUV. And depending on the configuration you choose, the Model X can seat up to 7 passengers.
is a bit smaller, with 76 cubic feet of interior space and a max towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. It has seating for up to 5, although you can order the Long Range model to increase that seating to 7. (We suspect it will feel a bit crowded, though.)
The Model Y is also a bit more wallet-friendly—the Model X starts at $120,990 and the Model Y starts at $65,990—so if you can do with a bit less space, it may be worth it.
No matter which model you go with, make sure your investment is protected with a quality
