Where is the Toyota Yaris built?
I own a Toyota Yaris and I’m wondering if there’s any way to determine where it was manufactured.

The Toyota Yaris is built in France and Japan—but there are some variations between the two plants.
France only produces the hatchback version of the Yaris, and the models from this plant are meant for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
The Japan factory produces both the hatchback and sedan Yaris models—but the model produced there didn’t actually take on the name “Yaris” until 2020! Instead, the nameplate Toyota Echo was used in Japan, while exported versions of the model received the name Yaris.
