Where is the electric Ford Mustang made?

I finally got to drive my friend’s electric Ford Mustang, and while it doesn’t look like a traditional Mustang, it’s fun to drive and has tons of power. I loved it so much, I’m thinking of buying one myself—however, I always like to support American products. Where does Ford make the electric Mustang?

That must’ve been quite the driving experience! The electric Ford Mustang—also known as the Ford Mustang Mach-E—is made in Cuautitlán, Mexico. Of the three current EVs from Ford, it’s the only one produced outside of the United States.
The reason for producing the Mach-E in Mexico is still at the center of a heated debate, but Ford says it’s simply to lower production and labor costs. Labor in Mexico is far cheaper than UAW labor in the United States, and this allows Ford to keep the price at a competitive level.
If you decide that the Mexican-made electric Mustang isn’t a source of contention, you should streamline the car-buying process by shopping for car insurance on the
