I’ve been reading that Buick offers an economical Encore GX model on top of the standard Encore, but I want to know a bit more about it. Where does Buick make the Encore GX?
Reviewed by Shannon Martin, Licensed Insurance Agent.
GM makes the Buick Encore GX at the GM South Korea Assembly Plant in Bupyeong, South Korea. However, it’s still partially made in America. Some of the parts for the Encore GX are fabricated in Flint, Michigan, and then shipped to South Korea. As South Korea and China are two large markets for Buick, having a factory in this location makes perfect sense from a business standpoint.
