Where is the 2011 Chevy Equinox battery location?
I thought that most Chevys had the battery in the back. It’s not there and I can’t find it under the hood either. Where is the 2011 Chevy Equinox battery location?

The 2011 Chevy Equinox battery location is under the hood on the driver’s side, beneath the computer module.
To remove the battery:
- Pop the hood and look by the driver’s side toward the front of the vehicle
- Unscrew the screw that holds the computer module in place atop the battery
- Slide the module forward to reveal the battery beneath
- Remove the bracket, which involves removing some plastic panels
