Where is the 2006 Volkswagen Passat battery located?
The battery in my Volkswagen died. A friend is coming to help me jump it, but I’m not even sure where the battery is located to get ready for him. Where can I find the battery in a 2006 VW Passat?

In a 2006 VW Passat, the battery is located underneath the hood on the driver’s side, toward the rear of the engine bay.
To get to it, you’ll need to fold back the protective rubber battery cover so it’s out of the way—then you can connect your jump box or cables to get your Passat running again!
