Is the Lexus extended warranty transferable?

I’m finally ready to let go of my Lexus and buy a new one. However, I don’t want to trade it in, as I can get more by selling it privately. I’m ready to write a description, but I want to make sure the extended warranty is transferable before I do—can I transfer the extended warranty to a new owner?

Lexus cars hold their resale value for a reason. The Lexus extended warranty is 100% transferable to new owners, and they’ll get whatever coverage is remaining on your extended warranty.
All extended warranties last for years or 50,000 miles—whichever comes first—and take effect after the initial four-year, 50,000-mile basic warranty runs out. So if you only drove your Lexus for 12,000 miles and one year, the new owner would get the remaining warranty for 38,000 miles or three years, whichever comes first.
