Can I use my international driving license in Florida?

I’m flying into Orlando for Spring Break and I’m thinking about renting a car with my buddies for convenience. Do I need to get an international driving permit to rent a car in Florida? Or can I use my current driver’s license?

Spring Break under the sun in Florida sounds like a blast! If you plan to rent a car, you can use your international driving license in Florida, so there’s no need to apply for an international driving permit.
That said, most rental car agencies in America accept a valid driver’s license from any U.S. state, U.S. territory, or foreign country. However, it’s best to check with the rental car company before arriving to confirm its requirements.
You will likely be able to secure rental car insurance straight through the rental car company. But if you feel the coverage is insufficient, download the
