Can car insurance companies verify my information if I lie to get various discounts?
I'm not sure if I can afford car insurance, but I've seen numerous discounts that could bring the rate down to where I need it for my budget. Can insurance companies check to see if I qualify for these discounts or if I'm lying?

When this happens, you’re an uninsured motorist, which means you’re on the hook for the injuries and damages from the accident.
Instead of lying to get discounts, shop around to find ones you actually qualify for. This will keep you out of trouble in the long run.”
