I know that some states make you retake the written test every few years. Does Florida do that? I’m about to take my driving test for the first time—I really don’t want to have to take it again anytime soon!
, you won’t have to retake the written driving test unless you fail your first attempt. If you miss more than 10 of the 50 questions, you’ll have to retake the exam before you can get your license. When do you have to retake the written driving test?
You’ll be allowed to retake the exam three times within 90 days. If you fail all three attempts, you’ll have to pay a fee—usually $10—for each additional test.
