What year was the first Chevrolet Trailblazer LS made?
I just saw that Chevy is making the Trailblazer again, but I didn’t realize it was ever made before. I’m thinking about getting an LS, and I was just wondering when that was first made?
introduced the Trailblazer as a high-end version of the S-10 Blazer in 1999, but it became its own make with its own trims, including the LS, in 2002.
The 2002 Trailblazer LS featured several upscale options, including:
4.2L inline-six-cylinder engine
refined suspension for much smoother ride than offer by the Blazer
up to 6,400-pound towing capacity
dual-zone climate control
The LS was the entry-level trim for the Trailblazer, and higher trims, like the LTZ, really tread luxury terrain with features like leather seats, automatic climate control with separate controls for rear passengers, and a premium audio system.
We hope you love your new LS as much as drivers of the original loved theirs. But before you head to the dealer, make sure you’re prepared to drive off the lot with the best
