I’m sorry to hear you are worried about your car—that is never fun! I’ve got some good news and bad news. The good news is that a ticking noise in your 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 doesn’t usually require a pricey repair. The bad news is you should probably take it to the mechanic for investigation. Most likely, it is an issue with the ignition system, low oil level or pressure, or an exhaust leak.
While a lack of lubrication often causes these problems, you can’t be sure without taking your Ram 1500 to do the mechanic. Most of the repairs you could be looking at are under $300, so you won’t be taking out a second mortgage to pay for your repairs.
