What size are the Tesla OEM tires?

I’m looking to replace the tires I have on my Tesla, but want to make sure I have the right measurements before making any purchases. What size are the Tesla OEM tires?

That’s a good question! Customizing your Tesla tires is a great way to add some personality to your car. But getting to know your tire size largely depends on the model and year of your vehicle.
OEM stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer”, meaning that you’re inquiring about the tires that the manufacturer fitted the vehicle within the factory. And since Tesla is an ever-growing company, they’re coming out with new models that come with different tire sizes out the gate. For instance, here are a couple of tire sizes of recent Tesla models:
  • Tesla Model 3 Base 2018: Front (235/40R19), Rear (265/35R19)
  • Tesla Model S Base 2019: Front (245/35R21), Rear (265/35R21)
  • Tesla Model X Base 2019: Front (265/35R22), Rear (285/35R22)
  • Tesla Model Y Performance 2021: Front (255/45R19), Rear (255/40R20)
While there are so many more tire sizes, I hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect when looking for your Tesla’s specs!
