What is the Dodge Charger's gas mileage?
I’ve always wanted a muscle car, and I’ve always loved the styling of the Dodge Charger. I know muscle cars are pretty thirsty, so I’m trying to make a sensible choice. How does the Charger do in terms of fuel efficiency?

I love American muscle cars, so I definitely agree that the Dodge Charger is a thing of beauty. And yes, you are totally correct that muscle cars can be thirsty brutes, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have some degree of efficiency.
A brand-new Dodge Charger’s gas mileage is 19 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. So, the fuel economy when driving in the city isn’t exactly stellar—it’s lower than that of many mid-size SUVs—but it’s not terrible. And the highway economy is actually pretty respectable, all things considered.
That just means you’ll have to use your Charger for what it was designed for: long, engine-roaring drives on the highway—and looking good doing it.
