, which starts at $14,645.The Mitsubishi Mirage is a compact hatchback that comes in four trims: ES, LE, Black Edition, and SE. As a budget vehicle, the interior is basic, but it provides a generous amount of cargo space with automatic climate control. All models come standard with a 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth audio streaming, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a four-speaker audio system.
This hatchback isn’t the fastest, so don’t expect the quickest acceleration—it comes with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that cranks out a modest 78 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque. Speed might not be its strongest point, but the Mirage is great on fuel—achieving 36 mpg in the city and 43 mpg on the highway.
The Mitsubishi Mirage is equipped with several standard driver-assistance features, including a rearview camera and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection. If you’re looking for additional safety features, consider going with the highest SE trim, which is equipped with fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, lane-departure warning, and automatic high beams, as well.
