What is the Acura depreciation rate?

I’m looking for a new car and would love to buy a used Acura TSX. I want to be sure I’m getting a good price on it though—what’s the average depreciation rate of an Acura?

The
Acura TSX
is a great pick! But it’s always good to do your research before taking the plunge on a used car.
The Acura depreciation rate really depends on the model you’re looking at, but in general, Acura models depreciate between 40% and 55% within the first five years of ownership.
After the first five years, the rate slows down a bit, meaning there probably won’t be a huge difference in price if you’re deciding between, say, a 2012 and 2013 model. The
retail value of a used car
is also dependent on things like the condition of the car and the exact year you are purchasing.
CarEdge.com recommends the 2018 model year if you’re going to buy a used Acura, as these still have around 67% of useful life remaining, while the price should reflect the depreciation of around 25%.
Once you’ve found the used car you’re looking for, you can extend its life and keep the value up with the help of an affordable
