Good idea—an NC Miata turbo kit is an engine modification that increases airflow to the engine, which in turn increases its power.
A turbo kit is an air compressor that pushes more air at higher pressure into the cylinders of your Miata’s engine. With more air coming in, the engine can produce more power. With an increase in engine power comes greater acceleration and more speed.
You can find a turbo kit online or at auto parts stores. While there are turbo kits made specific for some brands, a general turbo kit should work fine.
Leave the installation to a professional, however—it isn’t wise for a layman to be messing around with the engine.
