is 5W-20. According to the owner’s manual, you can use 5W-30 in a pinch for this model year, but you want to go back to 5W-20 at your next oil change.A synthetic blend is okay, just make sure that whatever brand you purchase has the American Petroleum Institute (API) seal on the bottle.
