“Most of Kia’s roadside assistance benefits are per occurrence. This means that they cover a particular amount every time you need assistance.
The benefits are as follows:
Towing or roadside assistance, $100 towards each occurrence.
1 key or fob replacement a year, $400 limit per replacement.
Locksmith services, $50 per occurrence.
Trip interruption, up to $500 per occurrence, with a $100 a day for food, lodging, and transportation.
You can use your roadside assistance whenever necessary. However, you would be responsible for any amount over Kia’s limit. If a tow ends up costing $150, you’d be responsible for the additional $50.
To find out more information and any additional benefits included in your membership, you can consult your Kia dealership or owner’s manual. If you want additional coverage, consider shopping for additional roadside assistance through companies like
