What are the 2022 Toyota Tundra engine choices?
I’m thinking about buying a new truck, and I like the look of the Toyota Tundra. What are the 2022 Toyota Tundra engine choices and which one do you guys recommend?

We’re happy to help you pick which Tundra engine to go with, and we think that’s an all-around great truck to choose. The 2022 Toyota Tundra has just two engines to choose from, but these are two really cool engines, so the decision isn’t an easy one.
The first option is their twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6. You’ll see this proclaimed by Toyota to be a 3.5-liter, but it’s actually got 3.445 liters of displacement, and these numbers are usually rounded down, not up.
That minor non-issue aside, this thing has a lot of power, with 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. That’s pretty competitive in the pickup field already, but their second option is nuts.
Engine #2 is the hybrid version of that aforementioned V6. And yes, it’s better for the environment. But you can also load up and haul quite a bit of that environment in the bed of your Tundra with its—wait for it!—437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque**.
