TLX, front-wheel drive is standard, and Acura’s all-wheel-drive system—which is called SH-AWD and directs power between the wheels to improve agility and traction—is optional. You’ll also have the option to choose between a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or a 3.0-liter V6, each powered by a 10-speed automatic transmission. Finally, an $800 performance package brings unique 20-inch wheels on summer tires for maximum cornering grip and stopping power.
The 2022 Acura TLX has a starting price of $37,700, which is low for a luxury midsize car. Adding all-wheel drive will bump up the price by $2,200, but it’s absolutely worth it if you live somewhere with regular snow and ice.
