) in just four easy steps:- Pull the hood release handle: It is located inside the car on the driver’s side to the left of the pedals
- Walk to the front of the car and slightly lift the hood—you will get about two inches of space. Feel around for the secondary hood release with your hand. It will be in the front center of the car below the hood
- Lift the hood
- Secure the hood with the prop rod before letting it go
