Is a Nissan Rogue a compact SUV?
My son Cam has worked for the CIA for about a year as a… well, we’re not exactly sure! He says he can’t divulge what he does there, but he reassures my husband and me that he sits at a desk all day and it's kind of boring. Anywho, the agency doesn’t exactly mint millionaires, so we decided to buy him a new car for his birthday. Naturally, we settled on the Nissan Rogue, but we want to make sure it's not a three-row SUV. You see, our daughter’s kids (Cam’s two nieces and two nephews) recently projectile-vomited all over his old Pathfinder, so he’s sworn off taking them anywhere. His sister told him Dairy Queen was a bad idea, but Mr. Top Secret insisted on getting them Blizzards. Anyways, is the Nissan Rogue a compact SUV?

Yes, the
Nissan Rogue
is a compact SUV with just two rows of seating. This will make it pretty much impossible for your son to legally transport all four of his nieces and nephews together for another ill-fated ice cream adventure.We here at Jerry are pretty sure your son will like the Rogue’s muscular looks, and you’ll like its starting price of just $28,655. He might not appreciate the name Rogue, though, being the straight arrow we assume he is.
That said, there’s plenty to like about the Rogue, including its pliable suspension, loads of standard technology and convenience features, and smooth-driving nature, courtesy of its 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque.
Now, we do recommend going for the mid-range
Rogue SV
