How wide are car parking spaces?

What’s the standard width of car parking spaces? I’m getting a new car and I want a tank! The only problem is that I don’t know if a big car is practical. To me, I think it’s a reasonable size if it can fit in a normal parking space.

Big cars can be fun, but they can also be inconvenient for driving in narrow streets or finding parking. Standard parking spaces range from seven to nine feet wide and are usually between 10-20 feet long.
While that should comfortably fit most cars—even big ones, truck and trailer parking can accommodate even bigger vehicles. On average, truck and trailer
parking spots
are at least 15 feet wide and range from 30-40 feet in length. Unfortunately, this kind of parking is somewhat uncommon—so you may be better off with a smaller car.
