How much does a Lincoln extended warranty cost?
I’m in the process of test driving a couple of different Lincolns to decide which one is right for me. I know there’s a limited warranty on all new purchases, but I’m interested in purchasing an extended one—how much do they cost?

in the long run! The Protect Extended Service Plans (ESPs) are available in four kinds—PremiumCARE, ExtraCARE, BaseCARE, and PowertrainCARE—and range in price. Lincoln’s website currently doesn’t have pricing available, but you can contact your local Lincoln dealer for details and help with finding the best plan for you. In the meantime, here’s a breakdown of what each plan offers:
- PremiumCARE (eight years or 150,000 miles): Covers more than 1,000 parts, including all tech systems and routine maintenance.
- ExtraCARE (three years or 60,000 miles to 8 years or 150,000 miles): Covers 113 parts, including specific technology components. The rear suspension isn’t covered under this plan and only provides partial coverage on certain parts and systems.
- BaseCARE (three years or 60,000 miles to 8 years or 150,000 miles): 84 parts are covered under this plan, including the entire steering system (the only system with full coverage). This plan only partially covers systems like the electrical, brakes, and transmission.
- PowertrainCARE (eight years or 150,000 miles): The lowest extended warranty plan that covers only the basics—engine, transmission, and drive systems.
