The Jeep warranty is comparable to many of the brand’s competitors on the market today. It’s a multi-part warranty that includes the following coverages:
- 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty
- 5-year/unlimited-mile corrosion and anti-perforation warranty
- 3-year/36,000-mile, basic warranty
- 2-year/24,000-mile federal emissions warranty
With these four warranties, virtually every part of your car should be covered from manufacturer defects and poor workmanship. However, these warranties do not protect you against general wear and tear or basic maintenance. You should start building a savings account to prepare for these types of repairs—at least $50 a month according to AAA.
