How much does it cost to fix a car scrape?

There’s a bush along my driveway that didn’t get trimmed back like it needed to. When I was backing out of my garage to leave for work, I heard it scraping against my car. Ugh. It’s a light surface scratch but it’s kind of long, maybe like a foot, making it pretty noticeable. How much would it cost to fix this scrape?

Oh no! That’s definitely not how you want to start your day.
Luckily, it sounds like this is only a surface-level scrape, which could cost $100 to $300 to
repaint
.
If this were a bush with some pretty thick branches, and it scratched deeper into your primer, that cost could jump to the $500 to $1,000 range. A deeper scratch, which would expose the metal of your car, could increase the cost into the thousands.
