Atlanta is a busy city, which bodes well for rideshare services. People need rides to and from work, and to and from downtown when socializing with friends. While Atlanta Uber drivers won’t earn as much as Los Angeles Uber drivers, they could still earn a reasonable annual income of around $38,000.
Of course, your salary as an Uber driver is highly individualized. There’s UberX, Uber Black, Uber Select, and more. If you drive a luxury vehicle and operate during peak hours with a 40-hour work week, you could earn more than the figure listed above. If you work more than 40 hours a week—or if you do Uber eats as well as Uber delivery—you could earn a lot more.
It’s important to remember that rideshare drivers are considered independent contractors. This means that your wage is not your actual take-home pay. Make sure you account for fuel, cleaning, and other expenses that Uber will not cover.
