How many points can you get in Missouri before your license is suspended?

Am I in danger of getting my license suspended if I have five points on my driving record? I’m really nervous about getting my license suspended because I’m super paranoid about getting speeding tickets!

I think it’s reasonable to be cautious in order to avoid getting a ticket! If you get eight or more points on your
Missouri
record within 18 months, your license can be suspended, so it’s good that you’re being careful right now. If you reach the maximum 12 points on your license, your driving privileges can be revoked for a full year.
License points will stay on your record for three years. If you’re able to go a full year without earning any additional points, however, the total number of points on your record will drop by one third.
In the meantime, the

app can help you manage the increased insurance rates that accompany points on your license. Download the app and answer a quick questionnaire to see a list of policies that could work for you.
