I’m trying to do a little more DIY car repair, starting with reading my spark plugs. How many ohms should a spark plug have?

should have between 500 and 3,000 ohms. If your plugs are a little on the older side, though, a value below 5,000 ohms is considered acceptable. The real trouble begins if it’s greater than 5,000 ohms: if your spark plugs are giving you a reading of more than 5,000 ohms, it’s time to get them replaced. Thankfully, the
